Rea Jones, a native of Rockford, Illinois, is a devoted wife and mother of three. With over 34 years of experience in early childhood education and family support, she is deeply committed to fostering open communication through storytelling. Her mission is to create books that encourage meaningful dialogue between children and caregivers, helping young minds engage with and navigate real-life issues.

Currently serving as a parent educator, Rea has had the privilege of working with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Her extensive experience has fueled her passion for advocating for children’s well-being and providing guidance to parents and caregivers.

Rea’s journey as an author began with crafting creative stories and rhymes to engage her preschoolers. This love for storytelling blossomed into her first book, Zy and Friends: Zy Meets Karma! Though her latest work takes a new direction, it continues to explore the important relationships between families and educators from a child’s perspective. Her writing offers valuable insights for professionals in early childhood education, parent education, and those supporting families in holistic development.
